I am utterly sickened by this, likening poor people to animals. How is it that having a government policy that provides food to those who have less has come to be so bi-partisan? The majority of people receiving food stamps are children, usually from single-parent homes. I have known several of these families and children and I am deeply offended and appalled by this comparison.  Why is it that the only people I have seen this from are Christians? Do we need to be reminded what Jesus said about the poor, and specifically what he said about feeding them?
